How can I reserve a seat with Chair Airlines?
At Chair Airlines you can either
- reserve a seat directly when booking your flight,
- or during the Chair Airlines check-in process.
However, keep in mind that there may be fees for seat reservations.
What do you need to reserve a seat?
For the Chair Airlines seat reservation or online check-in, you will need your last name as well as the booking number or ticket number that you should have received after booking your flight or travel booking. These can be found in your travel documents.
What are the best seats on the plane?
There are several seating options available to you, each with its own benefits. The reservation of a standard seat (rows 12-25) is offered at an additional cost of approximately 10 EUR.
1. Seat at the emergency exit
If you want extra legroom on your flight, it may be advisable to book a seat in the immediate vicinity of an emergency exit.
For safety reasons, persons under the age of 16, passengers with reduced mobility or those carrying a pet in the cabin are not allowed to sit in the emergency exit seats on Chair Airlines. In addition, it is necessary for passengers to be able to speak either German or English at the emergency exit.
2. Seat in front of the turbines
For a long flight, it is advisable to always choose a seat in front of the turbines . The noise level is lower, and after landing, you can leave the plane faster.
3. Seat with extra legroom
If you want to travel more comfortably, you can also treat yourself to a seat with Chair Airlines with more legroom for an extra charge.
4. and 5. Comfort Seats and Preferred Seats
“Comfort seats” include seats in row 1, as well as seats at the emergency exit. These can be reserved for an additional charge of approx. 30 EUR.
“Preferred seats” includes seats in rows 2-9. These can be reserved for an additional charge of approx. 20 EUR.
Reserve a seat for travel agency customers
In case you booked your flight through a travel agent or tour operator, you have the option to add other options such as reserving a specific seat, extra baggage or sports equipment. This service is available up to 48 hours before departure.
