How can I reserve a seat with TUI?
You have the option of reserving a seat directly when booking your TUI flight or you can opt for a reservation at TUI online check-in.

What do you need to reserve a TUI seat?
If you would like to reserve your seat at online check-in, you will need the booking number and your last name. The booking number can be found on your booking documents.
What are the best seats on the plane?
Not every seat on an airplane offers the same benefits. With seats in business or first class, you can enjoy a lot of comfort, space and peace and quiet .
In economy class, you can opt for seats with more legroom or less background noise (turbine noise).
1. Seat at the emergency exit

2. Seat in front of the turbines
Especially on long-haul flights, the noise from the turbines can become exhausting in the long run.
Therefore, frequent flyers advise to always choose seats in front of the turbines when making a reservation.
3. Seat with extra legroom
There are special seats with more legroom on many aircraft. These are not located at the emergency exits, but usually in the first rows of economy class.

The TUI seat categories
When reserving a seat, TUI fly distinguishes between 3 categories:
TUI fly Standard Seat
If you don’t need more legroom, but just want to choose your seat freely, it’s a standard seat. There is a fee starting at around €10 for this reservation.
TUI fly Comfort-Seats
The comfort seats offer up to 11cm more legroom. These seats are located in the front rows or in the middle of the aircraft and can be booked by all customer groups (regardless of the fare).
TUI fly XL-Seats
The XL seats offer you up to 23cm more legroom during your flight. However, these seats are located at the emergency exits of the aircraft and are therefore subject to certain conditions .
