Excess baggage at TUIfly
If baggage exceeds the TUIfly baggage allowance guidelines, it is referred to as excess baggage.
If you want to check in too much, too heavy or too large luggage at the airport, then you usually have to pay an excess baggage fee . These fees may vary depending on the flight, fare, departure airport, and excess baggage weight and size.
Special baggage at TUIfly
If the luggage is larger and heavier than ordinary luggage, then it is referred to as special or bulky luggage. For most airlines, baggage with a height, length and width of more than 158cm or a weight of more than 23kg is considered special baggage.
In most cases, sports equipment such as skis and surfboards, musical instruments, strollers and wheelchairs are part of the special baggage.
